The “Principe di Scavolino” corn is an ancient variety typical of Valmarecchia . Its name is linked to the locality in which it was grown, Scavolino (fraction of the municipality of Pennabilli) and to the fact that the polenta obtained was present on the table of the Counts of Carpegna. The Principe di Scavolino corn is characterized by ears with 8-10-12 rows, with seeds that vary in color from brick red to yellow. Scavolino polenta stands out from the more common varieties for its pleasant velvety consistency and a slight bitter aftertaste which allows it to enhance any seasoning.

Use: Polenta, desserts and vegetarian and vegan biscuits and crepes.
