Elegant, Rich, Harmonious
Structured texture, drinking length, complexity , fundamental elegance. Monte Bruciato is a velvety invitation to meditation and relaxation, to a convivial evening with friends in front of the lit fireplace.

Grapes: Sangiovese, Marzemino and Merlot.

Vinification: after a scrupulous qualitative selection of the bunches, the grapes in small crates are taken to the cellar for immediate destemming and crushing. The must and skins remain in contact during fermentation in order to extract color, aromas and structure for an extremely variable duration (from 10 to 30 days and more) depending on the variety and vintage. Fermentation is carried out at a temperature of approximately 25°C; racking then follows. Subsequently, refinement takes place on "noble lees" and then in wood for a year. The highest quality carats are assembled in steel tanks to refine for another year. Before marketing, the wine is refined in the bottle, in an air-conditioned environment, for approximately 12 months.

Colour: fascinating intense garnet, bright, with an orange and consistent edge.

Aroma: articulated and broad sense of smell; Mediterranean scrub and pout pourri intertwine with woody hints of tobacco, chocolate, liquorice, rhubarb, pepper, coffee and sandalwood.

Mouth: the sip is sumptuous, endowed with warmth and softness, calibrated by a persuasive freshness, well balanced by an embroidered and tasty tannin. Very persistent, refined and smooth finish. A great wine that evolves for decades.

Serving temperature: to be served at 16-18°C in a very large glass.
